Creating a rate is much more efficient with the inventory function. By adding a rate from the inventory, you can easily apply similar rates to multiple room types. This article will explain how to create a new rate by adding a rate from the inventory.


How to Add a Rate from the Inventory

Step 1: Navigate to Rate domain

  1. Log in to your Delta PMS account.

  2. Once logged in successfully, go to the side bar on your left screen

  3. On the side nav, navigate to Rates and Availability menu and select Rate Plan sub menu.

Step 2: Add the Rate from the Inventory

  1. Select a property from the All Properties tab. You will be navigated to the Rate Details page.

  2. Navigate to Calendar or Rate Plans tab. However, we recommend you to select the Rate Plan tab to ensure if the rate is successfully added later.

  3. Click on the New Rate button and select Add From Inventory option.

    Note : Rate must be saved in the inventory first before it can be added to other room types.

  4. Select a rate that you want to add.

  5. Click on the Add button to add the rate.

  6. The added rate will appear in rate plan list, along with the success message.

The added rate will have all the rate information, base rate, packages, add-ons and policies carried over. You can modify the details by clicking the See Details button and continue with the steps similar to creating a rate.
