How to Add a Surcharge to an Existing Rate Plan

A quick guide to add surcharge to existing Rate Plan.

Introducing new feature that allows you to add an OTA surcharge to your rate plans for non-Delta channels. This gives you flexibility to easily adjust your pricing for third-party booking sites.

To get started, follow these simple steps:

  1. Log in to your Delta PMS account.

  2. Once logged in successfully, go to the side bar on your left screen.

  3. On the navigation menu, choose the Rates and Availability then select the Rate Plan sub menu.

  4. In the All Properties tab, select a property then it will be navigated to Rate Details page.

  5. Select a room type in the room type dropdown.

  6. Go to Rate Plans section.

  7. Choose Existing Rate Plan, click See details.

  8. Move on to the Sales Channel section.

  9. Select the OTA Sales Channel.

    Note: The Surcharge feature is currently only available for properties that are connected to non Delta PMS Channel.

    Therefore, the Surcharge section will only be visible when the non Delta PMS Channel is selected.

  10. Click the Edit button.

  11. In the Surcharge Value dropdown, choose one of the following options:

    • Percentage

    • Amount

  12. After selecting an option, enter the corresponding surcharge value.

  13. You can choose which sales channel surcharge applied to in the Channel Application section. Currently, it is only available for Airbnb-connected properties, so the sales channel will be automatically set to Airbnb.

  14. Click Save to confirm your surcharge configuration.

Once saved, the surcharge will be automatically applied to the associated Rate Plan and can be viewed on the Rate Calendar.
