a. Overview

You can now manage Booking.com multi-room bookings in a single Inbox thread.

Instead of displaying each room as a separate conversation, all rooms belonging to the same booking are grouped together. This makes it easier to view the entire reservation and communicate with guests from one place.

Automated messages also follow the booking-level settings, helping prevent duplicate messages from being sent to guests.

b. How to Use

1. Identifying a multi-room booking

Multi-room bookings are marked in the Inbox list, making them easy to identify at a glance.

2. Viewing guest information

Open a multi-room booking to view the consolidated reservation details in the right-hand panel.

The Guest Information section includes:

  • Guest name

  • Reference ID (Booking.com reservation ID)

  • Booking channel (shown as Delta CM – {OTA name} – {Affiliate}, when an affiliate applies)

3. Notes

The Notes section works the same as it does for single-room bookings.

Both Internal Note and External Note are available.

4. Viewing booked rooms

The Booking List displays every room included in the reservation.

For each room, you can view:

  • PMS Booking ID

  • Payment status

  • Property, room type, and room name

  • Stay dates

  • Number of guests

  • Number of nights

  • Pre check-in status

The first room is labeled Main booking, while the remaining rooms are labeled Others.

If many rooms are included in the reservation, scroll within the Booking List to view them all.

5. Automated messages

Automated messages follow the settings of the Main booking instead of being processed separately for each room.

This helps prevent duplicate automated messages for the same reservation.

Tip: To choose whether automated messages are sent once for the entire booking or separately for each room, see Configuring message delivery for group bookings.

Good to know: This feature currently applies only to Booking.com multi-room bookings synced through the Channel Manager.
