What information can I edit?
From the Edit page, you can update:
Item Details
Pricing
Other settings
Properties
Quantity Type
Stock Threshold
Available Type
Bookable status
Remarks
The available fields follow the same rules as when creating a Stock Item.
How do I Edit an Existing Stock Item?
You can edit a previously created Stock Item from the Item List.
Go to Stock Management > Guest Service > Item List.
Find the Stock Item you want to update.
Click the Stock Item row.
The Item Detail page will open.
Click Edit.
Update the information you need.
Click Finish to apply the updates.
How do I edit a Stock Managed item?
For a Stock Managed item, you can manage the stock availability for the selected properties.
The available quantity section allows you to adjust the existing stock rather than directly replacing the current quantity.
Open the Guest Service Item and click Edit.
Go to the Stock Availability step.
Review the current Available Qty.
Choose whether to Increment or Decrement the stock.
Enter the quantity to add or deduct.
Add a remark if needed.
Review the updated configuration.
Click Save Changes.
How do I manage properties when editing a Stock Item?
You can select the properties where the Stock Item should be available.
You can:
Select one property.
Select multiple properties.
Select all properties.
Remove a property from the Stock Item.
After selecting the properties, configure their stock availability based on the Stock Item's Availability Type.
How do I increase the stock quantity?
Use Increment when you want to add stock to the existing quantity.
Select Increment.
Enter the number of stock items you want to add.
Optionally add a remark.
Save the changes.
Example:
Existing quantity: 100
Increment: 20
New quantity: 120
The increment is added to the existing stock and the Available for Reserve quantity is updated accordingly, assuming there are no other variables affecting availability.
How do I decrease the stock quantity?
Use Decrement when you want to remove stock from the existing quantity.
Select Decrement.
Enter the number of stock items you want to deduct.
Optionally add a remark.
Save the changes.
Example:
Existing quantity: 100
Decrement: 20
New quantity: 80
The deducted quantity is reflected in the stock and Available for Reserve quantity, assuming there are no other variables affecting availability.
Note: The amount deducted cannot exceed the current Available Qty.
How do I configure the Stock Threshold?
For a Stock Managed item, the Stock Threshold is required.
You can choose:
Follow Global Threshold
The Stock Item follows the threshold configured in Stock Settings.
If a global threshold has not been configured, you need to set it first.
If a global threshold is already configured, the Stock Item follows it and the threshold cannot be edited directly from this page.
Set Independently
Set a threshold specifically for the Stock Item/property.
The threshold accepts a percentage value.
How do I edit an Unlimited Stock Item?
For an Unlimited item, the Available Quantity is always displayed as:
Unlimited
There is no stock quantity to increment or decrement.
When editing an Unlimited item:
Available Qty remains Unlimited.
Stock Threshold remains Unlimited.
You can manage the other applicable item and property settings.
The property itself cannot be edited from the quantity input section when changing from Unlimited to Stock Managed.
What happens if I change an Unlimited item to Stock Managed?
When changing an item from Unlimited → Stock Managed, the quantity section changes to allow you to configure an actual stock quantity.
The property selection remains unchanged, but the property itself cannot be edited from the quantity input section.
You can then configure the stock availability for the existing properties.
What happens if I change a Stock Managed item to Unlimited?
When changing from Stock Managed → Unlimited, the item uses the normal Unlimited configuration.
The Available Quantity will be displayed as Unlimited, and stock quantity management is no longer required.
