This allows you to check the reservation details and guest's message before confirming the stay.
How do I accept an Airbnb booking request?
Open the booking request from Message.
Review the reservation details and guest's message.
Click Accept.
Review the confirmation pop-up.
Confirm the acceptance.
After you confirm the request, the reservation is accepted and a Reservation Confirmed message is added to the conversation.
How do I Deny an Airbnb Booking Request?
Open the booking request in Message.
Review the reservation details and guest's message.
Click Deny.
Select the reason for declining the request.
Provide additional details when required.
Confirm the decline.
The booking request is then marked as Voided.
Can I communicate with the guest before making a decision?
Yes.
The booking request appears directly inside the guest's message thread, so you can review the guest's message and communicate with them before accepting or denying the request.
How Long do I Have to Respond to a Booking Request?
The booking request displays the remaining response time in the conversation. The system also displays a warning as the deadline approaches, Make sure to respond before the displayed deadline.
When the booking request expires, it is automatically marked as Voided.
What does “Voided” mean?
Voided means the booking request is no longer active and will not become a confirmed reservation.
A booking request can become Voided when:
The host denies the request.
The request expires because the response deadline is reached.
