Rate inventory is a feature in Delta PMS that allows hosts to save template rates from one room type and then add those rates to other room types. This makes it easier for hosts if they have many room types with similar rates. Follow this guide if you want to save the rate plan from one room type to the rate inventory and then add it to another room type.
Step 1: Navigate to Rate
Log in to your Delta PMS account.
Once logged in, go to the sidebar on your left screen.
Click the Rate menu on the sidebar.
Click the Rate Plan submenu.
Step 2: Navigate to Property Rate Plan Page
On Rate Plan page, click on the All Properties tab (this will selected by default when you navigate to rate plan from sidebar).
Click on the See details button on the property that you want to save the rate plan to inventory / add the rate plan from inventory.
Step 3: Save Rate Plan to Rate Inventory
On the property rate page, search for a room type which you want to save the rate plan to rate inventory.
Click on the three dots icon, then click on Save rate to Inventory option.
Your rate plan is saved to rate inventory.
Step 4: Add Rate Plan from Rate Inventory
On the property rate page, search for a room type which you want to add rate plan from rate inventory.
Click on the Add from Inventory button.
Select the rate plan template from rate inventory that you want to add to the current room type. Click on the Add button.
Your rate plan is added from rate inventory.
Step 5: Check / Remove Rate Plan Template from Rate Inventory
On Rate Plan page, click on the Rate Inventory tab.
You can view all your saved rate plan template in the rate inventory.
If you want to remove the saved rate plan template from the rate inventory, you can click on the remove button.
Worry not, the original rate plan or rate plan that has been added from the rate inventory won't be removed if you remove the rate plan template from rate inventory.
Step 6 : Edit Manual Rate that come from Rate Inventory
Click the Rate menu on the sidebar.
Click the Rate Plan submenu.
Select the property and click 'See Details'.
Select the available room.
Click 'Add From Inventory'.
Select the rate that just selected from the rate inventory.
Click on the three dots and select 'Edit Rate'.
Click on the section you want to change (all section enable to edit).
Click 'Save Changes'.
