Price Update on Room Allocation : Keep Current Rate & Add New Rate

The Price Update modal may appear when a Host moves a booking from the Room Allocation page.

Unlike the Price Update on Booking Details, the update is triggered by dragging and dropping the booking to a different allocation.


Required Actions : User have the active/confirm booking.

Step 1: Open Room Allocation

  1. Go to the Room Allocation page.

  2. Find the booking that needs to be moved.

Step 2: Drag and Drop the Booking

Drag and drop the booking to a new allocation.

The Price Update modal may appear if the booking is moved to:

  1. Another property

  2. Another room or room type

  3. Another stay date

Step 3: Price Update Modal Appears

If the system detects that the new allocation may affect the payment, the Price Update modal will appear.

The Host can choose one of the following options:

  1. Keep Previous Rate

  2. Add New Rate to Payment

Step 4: Select the Price Update Option

Select one option based on how the booking price should be handled.

  1. Select Keep Previous Rate to keep the current booking amount.

  2. Select Add New Rate to Payment to apply a new available rate based on the new allocation.

  3. Click Continue.

Step 5: Adjust Registered Additional Services

If the booking has registered additional services, the Change Registered Additional Services modal will appear.

In this modal, the Host needs to:

  1. Review the additional service.

  2. Update the service date if needed.

  3. Make sure the service date matches the new stay date.

  4. Click Confirm.

Step 6: Booking Reallocated

After confirmation, the system will show the Booking Reallocated message.

This means:

  1. The booking has been moved successfully.

  2. The booking details are updated based on the new allocation.

  3. The Host can click Review Payment to check the updated payment details.

How to edit the price on Room Allocation ?

On Room Allocation, you can directly edit the price from the price field during the price update process.
