The Mass Stop Sell feature allows users to close availability for multiple rooms, rate plans, sales channels, rental types, and periods at once.This feature is useful when hosts need to stop selling several rooms or rates in bulk, without updating each availability manually from the Availability Management table.
Mass Stop Sell is managed per property, so the page only displays data from the property selected on the Availability Management page.
Step 1 : How to Access Mass Stop Sell
Go to Availability Management.
Select the property that you want to manage.
Click the Mass Edit button on the Availability Management table.
The system will show several mass edit options:
Mass Open Sell
Mass Stop Sell
Mass Remove Inactive Blocks
Select Mass Stop Sell.
You will be redirected to the Mass Stop Sell page.
Step 2 : How to Add Stop Sell Periods
On the Mass Stop Sell page, go to the Period section.
Select the Start Date and End Date for the period you want to stop selling.
If you need to add more than one stop sell period, click Add Period.
Make sure each period does not overlap with another period. If there is an overlapping period, the system will show an error message.
You can remove a period by clicking the Remove button.
Step 3 : How to Select Room, Rate, Sales Channel, and Rental Type
After selecting the period, go to the selection section below the period.
Select the data that you want to include in the stop sell action.
For Room Type and Room Name, the system will show all active room types and rooms from the selected property.
For Sales Channel, the system will show the default all sales channel list:
Adjust the filter selection if you only want to stop selling specific rooms, sales channels, or rental types.
Click Apply to show the matching availability data.
Step 4 : How to Select Rates to Stop Sell
After the result is displayed, review the data table.
Tick the checkbox for the rate that you want to stop selling.
If you select a Room Type, all related Room Names, Sales Channels, and Rate Names under that room type will be selected.
If you select a Room Name, all Sales Channels and Rate Names under that room will be selected.
If you select a Sales Channel, all Rate Names under that sales channel will be selected.
If you select a Rate Name, the related parent data will also be selected automatically, including:
Room Type
Room Name
Sales Channel
Step 5 : How to Confirm Mass Stop Sell
Make sure at least one rate plan is selected.
Click Confirm at the top-right side of the page.
The system will show the Mass Stop Sell Summary pop-up.Review the message shown in the pop-up.
Review the Property and Periods section.
Review the selected rate table.
If the data is incorrect, click Cancel.
You will return to the previous Mass Stop Sell page and can adjust the selection again.
If the data is correct, click Confirm.
After the action is completed, you will be redirected to the main Availability Management page.
Notes : Once the availability stops, room availability on specific date, sales channel and rate will be marked as closed and illustrated with the icon below. Users can re-active the availability individually by clicking on the cell directly. Once it's restored, availability status will change to Available.
