What is the Housekeeping tab used for?
The Housekeeping tab in the Booking Details page is used to show all housekeeping related to the booking. This helps booking staff understand which housekeeping activities need to be done, the housekeeping type, schedule, and cost for each housekeeping.
Previously, this tab was named House Cleaning. It is now updated to Housekeeping to match the updated housekeeping configuration in the Settings domain.
Step 1 : How to Open Housekeeping on Booking Details
Go to the booking list or room allocation.
Select the booking that you want to check.
Open the Booking Details page.
In the Booking Details page, find the tab section.
Click the Housekeeping tab.
What is the difference between Housekeeping and Additional Cleaning?
There are two types of housekeeping-related items:
Housekeeping from Housekeeping Settings
This is used for housekeeping schedule tracking only.Additional Cleaning from Guest Service
This is used as an extra service that can be charged to the guest.
Step 2 : How to Add New Housekeeping
Click + Add Housekeeping.
In the Housekeeping Type field, select an item. You can choose either Basic Housekeeping Type or Additional Cleaning.
If you select Basic Housekeeping Type, you can edit all fields except Cost Type and Sell Price.
If you select Additional Cleaning, you can edit all fields except Cleaning Cost and Cost Type.
Click Add and Save to save the housekeeping item.
Each Field Detail :
Housekeeping Type : Select the housekeeping activity type from the available list.
Cleaning Date : The date when the housekeeping task will be done.
Cleaning Start Time : The time when the housekeeping task starts.
Cleaning End Time : The time when the housekeeping task ends.
Cleaning Cost : The base cost of the selected housekeeping type.
Cost Type : Defines how the cost is calculated, such as per booking or per guest.
Sell Price : The final price charged for the housekeeping task.
Note : Additional information or instructions for the housekeeping task.
Payment Status :
Partially Paid: a status when the related invoice of the Additional Cleaning has not been fully paid.
Unpaid: a status when the related invoice of the additional Cleaning is not paid with any amount.
- Paid: a status when the related invoice of the Additional Cleaning is fully paid.

Action :
For Basic Housekeeping
a. You can delete Housekeeping regardless of the booking status.
b. You can edit Housekeeping.
Additional Cleaning
a. You can delete Additional Cleaning as long as it is unpaid and not associated with any invoices.
b. If additional Cleaning is associated with any invoices, you can only edit Note & Housekeeping Date and Time.
c. If additional Cleaning is not associated with any created invoices, you can edit all fields.
