Step 1: Access Owner Portal
First, the Host needs to invite the owner, so they can access the Owner Portal.
Next, the owner can log in to the Owner Portal. If the owner cannot access or log in to the owner portal, please contact the host.
After the owner logs in, the owner can view all owned properties on Menu > Property.
You can change your language to English or Japanese by clicking on the Menu > Globe icon button and selecting one of the two languages available.
Step 2: Owner Report from Owner Portal
If the owner wants to view the owner report, they can click on the View report button on the desired property.
Select the Rooms, Year, and Month period on the dropdown.
There are 4 tabs in Owner report, Owner Statement tab, Booking activity tab, Posting Log tab, and Reservation Log tab.
The Owner Statement tab consists of owner balance and its calculation. You can view the Owner Report Calculation topic for the detailed explanation.
Currently for the Booking activity tab, there are 5 sections. You can view the Owner Statement Overview for the detailed explanation. those 5 sections are:
Owner Share Amount. You can click on the View all records link to view all the booking records on the selected period.
Expenses > Income Tax Expenses. You can click on the View all records link to view all the tax expenses based on the booking records on the selected period.
Expenses > Rental Expenses. You can click on the View all records link to view all the accommodation expenses based on the booking records on the selected period.
Others > Other Credits. You can click on the View all records link to view all the credit records on the selected period.
Others > Other Debits. You can click on the View all records link to view all the debit records on the selected period.
Posting Log tab consists of input history and changes related to the owner report that happened on the respective property and the selected period.
Reservation Log tab consists of a list of bookings that are successfully created on the respective property on the selected period.
For owners who have multiple rooms across properties, you can see the compiled report for them by clicking the link View report for all rooms.
You will be redirected to the report for all rooms page. The default opened tab is the Owner Statement and the period set is on the current month and year.
Since this is a report for all owned rooms, we also make each statement expandable. So owner can see where the numbers are from.
Owner can also see the compiled report on the Booking Activity tab. There are no differences visually, except this report includes all owned rooms across properties for the selected period.
Similar to the previous tab, Posting Log tab also has no differences visually except that this report includes all owned rooms across properties for the selected period
And you’re correct to assume that the Reservation Log listed all reservations made on the owned rooms across all properties as well for the selected period.
Step 3: Download Owner Report from Owner Portal
Owner can go to Menu > Property, then select a property that they want and click on the View Report button.
Select the Rooms, Year, and Month period on the dropdown.
Then on the top right corner, you can click on the Download Report button.
Owner can customize the owner report date by changing the Start Date and End Date field. Click on the Download button to proceed with the download. Owner can also change the report for other owned room by changing the Rooms field.
