Business Metrics Report Overview

Business Metrics Report provides report data of Transactions and Bookings from properties that managed by host

Step 1: Navigate to Business Metrics Report

  1. Log in to your Delta PMS account.

  2. Once logged in, go to the sidebar on your left screen.

  3. Click the Report menu on the sidebar to show the submenu Business Metrics Report.

  4. Select Business Metrics Report submenu on the sidebar.

  5. Then, you will be able to see the Business Metrics Report page.

  6. On the top of the page you will be able to see the filter metrics for Load the report with these details:
    a) Period: This filter will filter out the report based on the selected Period. Period filter is set to this month by default. You can select within provided period: Today, Yesterday, This Month, Last Week, Last Month or Custom.





    b) Property: This filter will filter out the report based on the selected Property. Property filter is set to All Property by default.


    c) Room Type: This filter will filter out the report based on the selected Property. Room type filter is set to All Room types by default and it will be disabled if All Property filter selected.




    d) Room: This filter will filter out the report based on the selected Room. Room filter is set to All Rooms by default and it will be disabled if All room types filter selected.



    e) Load Report button: This button has function to load the report based on the selected filters. You have to click the Load Report button once you change the selected filter to load the report based on your preference.

Step 2: Transactions Tab on Business Metrics Report

Transactions Tab on Business Metrics Report provides transactions record and report that useful for host to track the bookings transactions. Transaction Tab has several sections:

  1. Gross Sales
    In a nutshell, Gross Sales are amount calculated from adding up all sales transactions before any deductions. In Business Metrics Report, there are Gross Sales and Gross Sales (including unpaid amounts), you can select one of them to display the report.





    Gross Sales are calculated from all sales before deductions of fee and taxes, meanwhile Gross Sales (including unpaid amounts) are calculated from all total amount from issued invoices excluding declined and cancelled booking with no paid amount.

  2. Income
    Income section is where all the income-related transactions and activities within bookings from property. Income section provide two key points:
    Net Share: Total amount from Gross Sales after deducted by fees and taxes
    Other Credits: Total amount of income that came outside of Net Share.


  3. Expenses
    Expenses section is where all the expense-related transactions and activities within bookings from property. Expenses section provide three key points:
    Taxes: Total amount of taxes that divided into Consumption Tax and Lodging Tax
    Rental Expenses: Total amount of rental expense that came from house cleaning expenses
    Other Debits: Total amount of expense came outside of Taxes and Rental Expenses

Step 3: Bookings Tab on Business Metrics Report

Bookings Tab on Business Metrics Report provides bookings record report that useful to host for analyse their properties. There are several sections on Bookings tab, such as:

  1. Total Number of Bookings

  2. Total Length of Stay

  3. Average length of Stay

  4. Average Occupancy Rate

  5. Average Daily Rate

  6. Revenue per Available Room (RevPAR)

  7. Top Sales Channel

  8. Top Rooms

  9. Top 10 Guest's Country Comparison
