What is The Lock Allocation

The Lock Allocation feature allows you as the host to lock the allocation of a booking, ensuring it remains fixed in its assigned slot. This prevents any accidental changes, such as moving the booking to another room or date, and helps maintain accuracy in scheduling and room management.


Step 1 : How to Lock The Booking from Room Allocation

  1. Select the booking you want to lock from Room Allocation.

  2. After you select the booking, the booking overview popup will appear. You may click the “Lock Allocation” button.

  3. Your booking will appear with a lock icon afterwards.

    If you try to move the booking, it will appear as confirmation that if the guest moves the booking, the booking will change into unlock booking. This is to prevent the host from moving the booking.

Step 2 : How to Unlock The Booking from Room Allocation

  1. Select and click the locked booking that you want to unlock.

  2. After the booking overview appears, click the “Unlock Booking” button.

  3. Your booking will revert back into an unlocked booking.
