A. How to Use the Search Bar on the Cleaning Inventory Page

Using the search column on the cleaning inventory page is a straightforward process that helps you quickly locate specific cleaning types. Here are the steps to follow:

Step 1: Navigate to the House Cleaning Schedule Page

To start, you'll need to access the House Cleaning Schedule page:

  • Go to the sidebar menu.

  • Click on "Settings."

  • Select the "House Cleaning Schedule".

Step 2: Access the Cleaning Inventory Section

Once you're on the House Cleaning Schedule page:

  • Click on the "Cleaning Inventory" tab to access the cleaning inventory section.

Step 3: Click Inside the Search Bar

Now that you're on the Cleaning Inventory page:

  • Locate the search bar at the top of the page.

  • Click inside the search bar to begin your search.

Step 4: Enter Keywords

To find specific cleaning types:

  • Type in the keywords related to the cleaning type you are looking for.

  • The search function will automatically begin filtering the results based on the keyword you’ve entered.

Step 5: View Matching Cleaning Types

After entering your keyword:

  • All cleaning types that match the keyword will be displayed in the list.

  • This allows you to quickly locate the cleaning type you need.

Step 6: Handling Non-Matching Keywords

If you enter a keyword that doesn’t match any cleaning type data:

  • The list will be empty, and a message will appear stating, "There are no saved cleaning types at the moment."

  • This indicates that no cleaning types match the search criteria you entered.

Step 7: Clearing the Search Bar

If you want to clear your search and view all the cleaning types again:

  • You can either manually delete the keyword using your keyboard or click the (X) button inside the search bar.

  • Once cleared, all the cleaning types will reappear in the cleaning inventory list, allowing you to browse the full list again.

B. How to Delete a Cleaning Type on the Cleaning Inventory Page

Deleting a cleaning type from your inventory is also a simple process that helps maintain an up-to-date and relevant list of cleaning tasks. Here are the steps to follow:

Step 1: Navigate to the House Cleaning Schedule Page

Step 3: Remove a Cleaning Type

To delete a specific cleaning type:

  • Locate the cleaning type you wish to remove from the list.

  • Click the "Remove" button next to the selected cleaning type.

Step 4: Confirm Removal

After clicking "Remove":

  • A snackbar notification will appear with the wording "Cleaning type has been removed from cleaning inventory."

  • This confirms that the cleaning type has been successfully deleted.

Step 5: Verify Deletion

Once the cleaning type is removed:

  • The deleted cleaning type will no longer appear in the cleaning inventory list.

  • This helps ensure that your cleaning inventory is up-to-date and only contains relevant data.
