How to Edit Price per Item in Guest Services

This guide will take you through the steps to edit the price per item in the Guest Services section.

Step 1: Navigate to Guest Services.

  1. Log in to your PMS account.

  2. Go to the Dashboard.

  3. On the left side of your screen, locate the sidebar. Click on the "Rates and Availability" menu.

  4. Select the "Guest Services" submenu. This will take you to the list of guest services.

Step 2: Go Over a Specific Item to Edit

  1. Find the item you want to edit in the Guest Services list.

Step 3: In Action Column of That Specific Item, Click Pencil Icon

  1. Locate the Action column for the item you want to edit.

  2. Click on the Pencil icon (Edit button) in the Action column. This will open the Edit Item dialog.

Step 4: Change Price per Item

  1. In the Edit Item dialog, find the Price per Item field.

  2. Enter the new price for the item. Ensure it follows the format specified in your PMS settings.

Step 5: Click Save Changes Button

  1. After changing the price, click the "Save Changes" button to save your modifications.

Step 6: Ensure the Item is Successfully Edited

  • Snackbar Notification: After editing, a snackbar message saying "Item has been updated" should appear, confirming that the changes were successfully saved.

  • Updated Price per Item in List: After saving the changes, you should see the updated price per item in the Guest Services list. Verify that the new price is correctly displayed.
