How to Delete a Category That Has Items Attached in Guest Services in PMS as a Host

Deleting a category that has items attached in the guest services section of PMS requires careful steps to ensure all related items are correctly handled. As the host, follow these steps to delete a category.


Step 1: Navigate to Categories List Page

  1. Log in to your Delta PMS account.

  2. Go to the sidebar menu on the left side.

  3. Select Rates and Availability > Guest Services.

  4. Open Categories tab.

  5. On the categories list page, find the specific category you want to delete.

  6. Click the trash icon (delete button) in the Actions column.

  7. A confirmation popup will appear. Click the "Confirm" button to confirm the deletion.

  8. An Assign Category popup will appear and instruct you to assign the existing guest services to another category before deleting the previous category.

  9. After assigning all guest services to the available category, click the “Delete” button.
