Some guest services can be booked right away and will show up in the Additional Guest Service list automatically, while others need host approval first before they are added. This Guest Service Approval Required will show in the Guest Portal.
Set Up Guest Service that Requires Host Review
Log in to your Delta PMS account.
Go to the sidebar menu on the left side.
Click Rates and Availability > Guest Service.
Click the “Add Item” button.
Fill in the guest service mandatory fields.
In the Approval section, check the “Requires approval” checkbox.
Select the period (Start Date & End Date) by clicking the “+Add Period” button.
What will guests see on the Guest Portal when they book a service that needs host approval?
If a guest selects a service item that requires host approval, after choosing the service date, they will see the following message:
and the guest should be waiting for the host approval to pay the selected guest service.
What will host see on the Guest Service tab (PMS Host) when there is incoming Guest Service Request?
When you open the Booking Details page > Guest Service, you will see incoming guest service requests waiting for your approval. Once it is approved, it will be listed in the Incoming Requests table on the Guest Service tab and guests can proceed with their payment for this.
