Step 1 : Login As a Host

Through the PMS portal

  1. Go to PMS host portal (https://pms.deltahq.com/login).

  2. Input your email & password.

  3. Click Log in.

Step 2 : How to Create a Message Automation

Through the PMS portal

  1. Select Settings.

  2. Click Automation.

  3. Access to menu automation and choose the Message Automation.

  4. In this section, please access button +Add new to create a brand new message automation.

  5. Through the menu add message automation, complete all the field & Select the target (room).

  6. Explanation of trigger message :

    1. Booking Confirmed

      the message is expect to sent after the booking from OTA is confirmed.

    2. Booking Cancelled

      the message is expect to sent after the cancellation is created by guest on OTA.

    3. Guest Checked In

      the message is expect to sent after the booking status is change to in house.

    4. Guest Checked Out

      the message is expect to sent after the checkout date & time.

    5. Guest No Show

      the message is expect to sent after the booking status changed to no show

    6. Guest In-House

      the message is expect to sent during the guest stay after the booking status changed to In House, the message is able to send after check-in or before check-out, the checkout time is following the company policy (check-in / check-out)

    7. Check-In Reminder

      the message is expect to sent before the check-in date. To remind the user about their stay. The timing is following the global policy.

    8. Check-out Reminder

      the message is expect to sent before the checkout date. Besides that, the booking status need to be in house. The timing is following the global policy.

      Important Note: For the triggers Guest Check-in, Guest In-House, Guest No Show. The triggers is work depend with the status changes in PMS.

  7. What is targets

    Targets is become destination to send the message automation.

    The PMS enables users to define target rooms for automated messaging on each event. However, each target is subject to specific rules :

    1. The 1 on 1 rule

      1 Room on 1 Trigger, if the some room is linked into trigger Booking Confirmation, then if host decide to create a new message automation with trigger Booking Confirmation, the room that linked in previous message automation (With trigger Booking Confirmation) is unable to select. Below is the example of this case.

  8. User is able to set the status of message automation

    There is 2 status on message automation , Active & Inactive

    • Active : The PMS will send the message for the linked targets following the schedule setup.

    • Inactive : The PMS will not send the message for the linked targets following the schedule setup.
