D
Written by Delta HQ Support Team

What You Can Do with This Feature

  • Select which fields are displayed on the pre check-in form
    (specific fields can be hidden)

  • Set each field as Required or Optional

  • Define required fields separately for Main Guest and Accompanying Guests

  • Collect information such as Date of Birth and Occupation and use it in CRM

These settings allow you to optimize the guest experience depending on your operation style (unmanned, staffed, OTA-focused, etc.).

1. Configure Fields Displayed on the Form

Overview

You can choose which input fields are shown on the pre check-in form.

By hiding unnecessary fields, you can reduce guest friction and prevent incomplete submissions.

How to Configure

  1. Go to Settings > Form Builder > Pre Check-in Form > View form

  2. Click the third tab, Configurations

  3. Click Edit under Fields Visibility

  4. Check the fields you want to show (= uncheck fields you want to hide)

  5. Click Confirm

  6. Click Publish form to apply the changes

Best Practices

  • Unmanned properties: Keep only the minimum required fields

  • Hotels: Display only fields required for legal compliance

  • OTA-focused operations: Reduce the number of input fields to improve completion rates

2. Set Required Fields by Guest Type

Overview

For each input field, you can specify whether it is:

  • Required for Main Guest only

  • Required for Accompanying Guests as well

  • Optional

How to Configure

  1. Go to Settings > Form Builder > Pre Check-in Form > View form

  2. Click the Configuration tab

  3. Click Edit under Required Fields Filling

  4. For each field, select:

    • Main Guest

    • Sub- Guest

  5. Click Confirm

  6. Click Publish form to apply the changes

Example Settings

Field

Example Setting

Name / Nationality

Optional

👉 This setup is effective for balancing legal compliance and guest convenience.

⚠ Important Notes (Prerequisite)

When configuring required fields by guest type (Main Guest / Accompanying Guest),
you must first define required fields for the Main Guest in the Form Structure tab.

This is because required settings for accompanying guests are applied based on the main guest’s required field configuration.

Confirm the Publish Status After Changing Settings

Overview

When you change any pre check-in form settings, the updates will not appear on the guest-facing page until the form is published.

If there are unpublished changes, a notification will be displayed in the admin screen.

Important Notes

  • After making changes, always click Publish New Form

  • If the form is not published, guests will continue to see the previous version
