1. Configure Which Fields Are Displayed in the Form
Overview
You can choose which fields to display in the Pre-check-in Form for each property.
By hiding unnecessary fields, you can reduce the amount of information guests need to enter and help prevent them from leaving the form before completing it.
Setup Instructions
Go to Settings > Form Builder > Pre-check-in Form.
Click the third tab, Basic Settings.
Click Edit under Visible Fields Settings.
Check the fields you want to display and uncheck the fields you want to hide.
Click Confirm.
Click Publish New Form at the top right of the screen to publish the changes.
Important Note
Once you have finished configuring the settings, make sure to click Publish New Form at the top right of the screen.
💡 New Feature – You Can Now Hide the Credit Card Information Step (Released October 19, 2026)
You can now hide the credit card information step in the Pre-check-in Form!
To hide this step, simply uncheck Credit Card Capture.
Credit Card Capture controls whether the Credit Card Information step is displayed in the Pre-check-in Form. This option is enabled by default. If your property does not need to collect credit card information, uncheck this option and publish the form. The Credit Card Information step will no longer appear on the guest's screen.
💳 Important Note When Hiding Credit Card Information
If a guest is in the middle of entering their credit card information but has not yet submitted it, changing this setting to hidden may delete the information they were entering.
Credit card information that has already been saved to the reservation will not be deleted.
Tips for Use
If your property does not need to collect credit card information, we recommend setting this step to hidden.
The credit card information step will no longer appear, allowing guests to proceed directly to Review Your Information after agreeing to the Accommodation Terms, and then complete their submission.
Unmanned properties: Limit the form to essential fields only.
Hotels: Display only the fields necessary to meet legal requirements.
OTA-focused properties: Reduce the number of fields to improve form completion rates.
2. Configure Required Fields Separately for Main Guests and Accompanying Guests
Overview
You can configure each field using the following three options:
Required for the main guest only
Required for accompanying guests as well
Optional
For example, you can require the main guest to enter their address and phone number while requiring accompanying guests to provide only essential information, such as their names.
Setup Instructions
Go to Settings > Form Builder > Pre-check-in Form and click Preview Form.
Click the third tab, Basic Settings, and edit Required Fields Settings.
For each field, select the Main Guest and Accompanying Guests checkboxes according to your preferences.
Finally, click Confirm.
Example Settings
Field | Example Setting |
Name / Nationality | Required for both main and accompanying guests |
Phone Number | Required for the main guest only |
Transportation Method | Optional |
Please configure these settings according to your property's operational needs and applicable legal requirements.
💡 Important Note
To configure required fields separately for main guests and accompanying guests, you must first set the required fields for the Main Guest in the Form Structure tab.
This is because Required Fields Settings uses the main guest's required fields as the basis for adding or adjusting the requirements for accompanying guests.
Open the first tab, Form Structure, and click Edit.
Turn on the Required Field toggle. (Blue indicates that the setting is ON.)
You must complete this setting first. Otherwise, you will not be able to configure required fields separately for Main Guest and Accompanying Guests in the third tab, Basic Settings.
3. Check the Publication Status After Changing Settings
Overview
When you change the Pre-check-in Form settings, the changes will not appear on the guest's screen until you publish the form.
If there are unpublished changes, a notification will appear on the management screen.
Important Notes
Always click Publish New Form after changing the settings.
If the changes have not been published, guests will continue to see the previous version of the form.
Click Preview Form to view the latest published version of the form currently displayed to guests.
Important Notes for Daily Operations
Visible fields and required fields are two different settings, so you need to configure them separately.
Visible Fields: Determines whether a field appears in the form.
Required Fields: Determines whether guests must complete a field before proceeding to the next step.
Always click Publish New Form after making changes.
We recommend keeping the number of required fields to a minimum.
Summary
By using the Pre-check-in Form field settings, you can:
Reduce the amount of information guests need to enter
Collect necessary guest information efficiently
Support smoother unmanned or reduced-staff operations
Please make use of these features to optimize the check-in process according to your property's operational needs.
