How to Create a Guest Group Booking from the Booking List

This feature allows you, as the host, to manage bookings for guests who book multiple rooms.

This feature introduces multi-room (group) booking creation, allowing you to add multiple rooms to a single booking session, designate a Person-in-Charge (PIC), and manage the group through several features. Follow this article to create a group booking for Guest and Agent from the Booking List.


Step 1: Create a Booking in the Booking List

  1. Log in to your Delta PMS account.

  2. Go to the sidebar menu on the left side.

  3. Select Booking > Booking List.

  4. Click “+ Create Booking” > Guest Booking/Agent Booking.

  5. The Create New Booking form will appear. Fill in all mandatory fields (Select Property, Select Room Type, Room Name, Last Name, and Applied Rate by choosing the Stay Period). By default, there will be an ‘Individual’ mark at the top right of the form, as long as you do not add more rooms to the booking.

Step 2: Create Group Booking

  1. To create a group booking, a minimum of 2 rooms is required. Click “+ Add more room”.

  2. Fill in all required fields (Select Property, Select Room Type, Room Name, Last Name, and Applied Rate by choosing the Stay Period).

  3. Click “Next”.

  4. In the Confirmation step, choose the PIC of the group booking. This PIC will be the main contact during the group’s stay.

  5. After that, fill in the Booking Group Name field.

  6. You can also review the information by clicking the navigation arrows to swipe the form left or right.

  7. After reviewing the information you input, click “Confirm”.

  8. You will be redirected to the Booking Details page, and the notification ‘Group booking created will appear. This is what the Booking Details page for a group booking looks like.

On the left side, you can navigate to Individual Bookings to view each booking's details.

You may check the booking summary card of the booking group.

It contains the following details:

  • PIC: The PIC of the booking, or a main contact of the group booking.

  • PIC Booking ID: Booking ID of the group booking’s PIC

  • Total Bookings Combined: The total number of bookings in the group booking.

  • Total Guests: The total number of guests in all bookings in that group

  • Total Invoice Amount: The amount that the guests need to pay after generating the invoice.

  • Total Amount Due: The unpaid amount from the generated invoice.
