When does cancelling the PIC's booking dissolve the group?
The group is automatically dissolved when both conditions are met:
The booking being cancelled is the group's current PIC booking.
It is the only remaining Confirmed booking in the group.
To proceed:
Click Cancel Booking on the PIC's booking.
Review the confirmation dialog and its warning that cancelling the booking will dissolve the group.
Click Confirm Cancellation to proceed.
The PIC's booking will be cancelled, and the group will be dissolved in the same action. All remaining bookings will become standalone bookings while retaining their individual statuses.
Does cancelling any booking dissolve the group?
No. Automatic group dissolution only occurs when the current PIC booking is the last remaining Confirmed booking.
If another Confirmed booking remains available, the normal PIC reassignment requirement still applies. Cancelling a non-PIC booking does not automatically dissolve the group.
What happens to other bookings when the group is dissolved?
All bookings belonging to the group, including previously cancelled bookings, become standalone bookings.
Each booking retains its own status and record. The group is no longer available as an active group, and its Group Booking Details page will no longer be accessible as an active group booking.
What happens if the group is dissolved while I am adding a booking?
If another host dissolves the group while you are making changes, the system should prevent your action from attaching a booking to the dissolved group.
