When attempting to invite an agent to join your property in the Property Management System (PMS) with an email that has already been invited or not, follow the steps below to handle this situation effectively:
Step 1: Navigate to the Sales Channel menu
Log in to your PMS account.
Go to the Dashboard.
Find and click on the "Sales Channel" menu on the sidebar on the left of your screen.
Step 2: Select the Agents submenu
Within the Sales Channel menu, select the "Agents” submenu. Click on it to proceed to the agent list page.
Step 3: Click Invite New Agents Button
On the top rightmost corner of the Agent List page, click the "Invite New Agents" button. This will open the New Agent page.
Step 4: Input Email Address (Email Previously Invited)
In the New Agent page, locate the Agent Email text field.
Input a valid email address that has already been invited.
Step 5: Input Agent Fee
In the same form, find the Agent Fee text field.
Input the agent fee in percentage.
Step 6: Click Invite Agents Button
Click the "Invite Agents" button to proceed with the invitation.
Step 7: Click Confirm Button in Confirmation Dialog
A confirmation dialog will appear.
Click the "Confirm" button to send the invitation.
Step 8: Verify the Results
If your email has not been listed in the Agent List, your Agent data will automatically appear in Agent List after you click "Confirm".
If you input the email that has been used, a snackbar notification will appear, informing the host that "This email has already been invited."
In this condition, the host will not be able to proceed to the next step of sending the invitation due to the email address being previously invited.
To resolve this issue, use an email address that has not been used before.
