How to Invite an Agent and Cancel the Invitation Process

Inviting agents to join your property is an essential feature of your Property Management System (PMS). This tutorial will guide you through the steps to invite an agent and cancel the invitation process before it is completed.

Cancel invitation before send the email

Step 1: Navigate to the Sales Channel menu

  1. Log in to your PMS account.

  2. Go to the Dashboard.

  3. Find and click on the "Sales Channel" menu on the sidebar on the left of your screen.

Step 2: Select the Agents submenu

  1. Within the Sales Channel menu, select the "Agents” submenu. Click on it to proceed to the agent list page.

Step 3: Click Invite New Agents Button

  1. On the top rightmost corner of the Agent List page, click the "Invite New Agents" button. This will open the New Agent page.

Step 4: Input Valid Email Address

  1. In the New Agent page, locate the Agent Email text field.

  2. Input a valid email address.

Step 5: Input Agent Fee

  1. In the same form, find the Agent Fee text field.

  2. Input the agent fee in percentage.

Step 6: Click Invite Agents Button

  1. Click the "Invite Agents" button to proceed with the invitation.

Step 7: Click Cancel Button in Confirmation Dialog

  1. A confirmation dialog will appear.

  2. Click the "Cancel" button to cancel the invitation before system send the confirmation to your email account.

Step 8: The Result

  1. Host Should Be Redirected to Agent List Page

    • After clicking the "Cancel" button, you should be redirected back to the Agent List page.

    • Verify that no invitation was sent and the agent does not appear on the list.

Cancel the invitation after sending the email Inviting Agent

In a Property Management System (PMS), hosts may need to cancel invitations to agents. If you've invited an agent to join your property but need to cancel the invitation before it is activated, follow these steps to manage the cancellation process effectively.

Step 1: Navigate to the Sales Channel menu

  1. Log in to your PMS account.

  2. Go to the Dashboard.

  3. Find and click on the "Sales Channel" menu on the sidebar on the left of your screen

Step 2: Select the Agents submenu

  1. Within the Sales Channel menu, select the "Agents” submenu. Click on it to proceed to the agent list page.

Step 3: Locate on Invited Agent

  1. Locate the agent you have invited but who has not yet activated their account.

  2. Click the “See Details” button on the invited agent's name to open their profile.

Step 4: Click Cancel Invitation Button

  1. In the agent's details page, click the "Cancel Invitation" button to initiate the cancellation process.

Step 5: Click Confirm Button in Confirmation Dialog

  1. A confirmation dialog will appear.

  2. Click the "Confirm" button to cancel the invitation.

Step 6: The Result

After clicking the "Cancel Invitation" button, the following things should happen:

  1. Host Should Be Canceled the Invitation:

    • Ensure that the invitation is successfully canceled to the invited agent.

  2. Host Should Be Redirected to Agent List Page

    • After clicking the "Confirm" button in Cancel Popup Dialog, you should be redirected back to the Agent List page.

  3. Snackbar Notification:

    • A snackbar notification will appear, informing the host that "Agent invitation cancelled successfully"

  4. Reinvitation Capability:

    • Verify that the host can now invite another agent using the same email address.
